Purple Star Theatre is proud of being the only group in South Lanarkshire to have performed ‘The Vagina Monologues’, not just once, but twice, our previous production being in 2005. This recent production enabled us to raise the magnificent amount of £1,000 which we have donated to East Kilbride Women’s Aid. This picture shows Izzy Carrick, our secretary, presenting the cheque to Maureen McNair, project worker with Women’s Aid.
