If there is anything worse than losing a child, it's being accused of having murdered the child. This play is an extraordinary, moving, and ethically worrying docudrama, put together by the fast-rising playwright Dennis Kelly.Using the style of verbatim theatre it deals with the case of Donna McAuliffe, one of those mothers found questionably guilty of killing their children in their cots. She insists that they died of natural causes; an eminent psychiatrist, Dr Millard, claims that she killed them as a result of a mental disorder. Is Donna lying? Is Dr Millard merely seizing an opportunity to advance his own career with his splashy theory of a new psychological syndrome? Make up your own mind when you have heard everyones story.
